| ~Traveling across the stretching sea a volant storm breaks loose. Our hero Link is tossed and turned in ship trying to stay alive. A volant wave engulfs him causing him to wash ashore upon a strange island by the name of Koholint. Stranded, Links seeks to awaken the sleeping Windfish to help restore him on his way, but is this world undiscovered territory, or a simple illusion?~
The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening was the first Legend of Zelda game brought to the portable world appearing on the first GameBoy release. The game also succeeded in outselling the Pokemon series of games for a short period of time in Japan. Link's Awakening has received little cretinism and is generally enjoyed among all Legend of Zelda fans.
