What do you think are the top 10 games of all time?

Not your favorites, just games that are really great. For example, I don't like Halo too much, but there's no doubt it's an amazing game.

Yeah, MK is good, as it was the first REAL fighting game, but it also was the reason people like Hillary Clinton hate videogames, and pushed to form the ESRB. Soul Calibur is great too.

Does anyone here have an atari system? There are so many crappy fighting games with cheesy animation and moves that look the same but claim to be different. It's gotta be hard to track down the first one.

This is only console games. If I included PC I would never finish a list.

It's a pretty rounded selection of games, with a tendency to RPGs. For those of you who haven't played a Castlevania game, I strongly suggest you pick one up. Custom Robo is a short game, but well worth buying used.

If you haven't played Golden Sun, you have no right to live.

1. yoyoll, I am actually refering to an ARCADE game, not an Atari 2600 game, and the one I am thinking of is generally refered to as the first fighting game.

2. Absolutely correct Ultima. I was referring to the unnamed game created by Ralph Baer, not the cheap knock-off Pong in the Arcade.

Quite simple. WoW is an MMORPG, and is limited by the player community and the development team. It will never be a finished, polished product. On the other hand, HL2 is simply awesome. Ever played a 20-person deathmatch in it? If no, you haven't seen anything.

Oh, and Mario Kart is a good game, but lacks replay value. That, and it's only possible to do so well. There is a point where times cannot be shortened in any way.
