Well, took a bit longer than expected, but here it is! Once I year I like to step aside from the norm of odd and/or strange and exciting news to take a look at the state of Zelda Sages. So, for our year in review and look into the future take a look inside!

Hey everyone, I'm just posting this so you all know that I am not dead  .
The last few weeks have been very busy for me, and the addition of Mid-Terms being in just three days does not help one bit. Rest assured though, I will be able to post up a State of the Site as soon as possible. I'll be getting another staff member to do the mailbag for this month *they need to do something anyway* whilst I try to get my life together. So again, I apologize for the lack of updates and know that this is only temporary.

Hey everyone! Just want to wish you all a very happy New Year! Happy 2008! I'll be posting up the Zelda Sages 2008 plan in a few days. I know it's a bit late, although I've had a few things going on around the family the last week or so in addition to preparing for one of the most important nights of my young adult life (which I'm still preparing for, wohoo!) I'll also be coming back with a new edition of the Mailbag. It's been a while since the last mailbag, it's time we have another.

Yes, the title of this article is absolutely irrelevant to the information contained within it . I've come across the knowledge that you guys are all a bit in the dark as to what is going on, so I will explain what are plans are up until the end of the year.
First, I've received several E-Mails asking when a new mailbag will be published. We have enough questions to create a mailbag, although all the submissions are from the same people. If we really have to make do with what we have, a new mailbag will be posted in January regardless. However, it would be nice to see a bit of diversity in the mailbag itself. I've also been receiving E-Mails about PH content. All I can really say is, it's coming. I have the final battle footage on my computer, although I've been experiencing editing problems with watermarking. Lt_Justin is working on the codes and secrets section and we are working on obtaining a walkthrough. Don't worry, it will all go up!
As a last short list of add-ins we are discussing when to hold new Mute Trivia sessions. I will be posting a poll once the Wii Game of the Year poll runs out on the 15th as to what we should do. Another vote also ends on the 15th and that's the 2007 Member Awards! If you have yet to vote, do so! It takes only a few minutes to do and the more votes the better. For now though, I hope you are all enjoying your holiday seasons!

Just to make a more official announcement on the subject other than mass E-Mail, here it is again . Zelda Sages will be holding the first ever Zelda Sages Mute Trivia in the chatroom this Wednesday December 5th at 8:00 PM EST. For those of you without a Zelda Sages account our Mute Trivia events will run identical to how the late Nintendo Nsider Forums event was run. Being the first person to submit a correct answer to a given question will allow you to mute, unmute, or switch an individual. The last person unmuted is the winner of the game and thus crowned the Trivia Champion *which is a rank by the way* until the net champion is chosen. We would really like to see a big turnout, mainly because it's far more fun when you have a great deal of competition involved. So, be sure to visit the chatroom at 8:00 PM EST this Wednesday, and let the madness begin.
As an added note, be certain to submit your votes for the 2007 Member Awards if you have not already done so. The polls, as well as animaldude's Wii Game of the Year poll, will close on December 15th. Make your voice heard!
------------------------------------------- Edit: Congratulations to our first Trivia Champion (or should I say champions) UltimaLink007 and zeldachick2643! This is the only time we will have two winners, it was a little add-in for the very first Mute Trivia event. Be sure to tune in next time to see if you can snag the title of champion!

Would editorials be Nintendo-related or just Zelda?
I think chatroom activity would happen as a result of getting us recognized... I'm looking forward to that one but I don't see how you can pull it off.
You might've began publishing the mailbag but it hasn't been continued...
Do people even know about the chat room?
I go on and stay on for quite a while every day and see no one.
I think that either the Encyclopedia will get us recognised by the Zelda Community, or it will at least gain a few more affiliates.

Err, yeah sorry to bother y'all but I asked some questions...
To answer said questions:
Really, just similar to a common editorial section. For example, we may dissect the meaning of Majora's Mask's story.
As for the mailbag, it needs a more diverse set of people and questions before we post each. We will have one this month though. I'm trying to work out a system to make things run a bit better on that end.
Interesting plans. Can't wait for the cool things to come in 2008
