Skyward Sword has been getting a great deal of attention from the media since November 11th. Review scores from big name reviewers are coming in like mad, and, with the exception of five of the 32 reviews thus far (all American media, figures), they have all pointed to outstanding quality! Notably, Skyward Sword earned a perfect 40/40 from Famitsu (10,10,10,10- 4 different reviewers giving a perfect score of ten). If you want to take a look at how Skyward Sword is doing overall, check out its metacritic page. Of course, do remember that reviews can give a general idea of how the game is, but it's really up to each of us to play the game individualy for ourselves. I won't be able to review (or play) Skyward Sword until December, but we will have a Skyward Sword review by someone on staff within the next few weeks. With the new site launch, we're changing how we do reviews a bit, so if you are fond of reading my reviews that will be up sometime in December.

To be perfectly blunt I have absolutely no idea how I ended up finding this clip, but it seems a French journalist decided to do some major embargo breaking and uploaded 30 minutes of time in Skyloft (taking place right after you first meet Zelda). Granted, most of it is just running around town, but there are some cinematic moments that are potential spoilers. Click the read more to to watch the whole 32 minute video!

Skyward Sword certainly is looking more and more like it will be a fantastic final big name title for the Nintendo Wii. As we alluded to earlier, we've found information from TheBitBlock about even more Zelda goodness. Look inside for a slew of 30 second demo direct feeds ranging from showing off Zelda and Link's relationship even further, and some interesting things Link can do with a pumpkin (unfortunately, basketball isn't one of them, ha, but you'll find the scene entertaining nonetheless). Look inside for all the videos currently available.

Browsing around Youtube, I happened to stumble across a new Skyward Sword commercial from good o'l JP. There are a number of scene spoilers inside, so I would suggest that those that don't want a few things spoiled not look inside. To be completely honest, I don't think Nintendo would release something that would spoil everything, but if you'd rather not see a few new areas and scenarios in the game, don't not continue reading.

Even more exciting news! Over at Digital Chomp, a great article series is being published detailing portions of Skyward Sword not under press embargo. The article is fairly spoiler free, and includes mainly vides and pictures showing off the environments and music. Go on over and check it out!

Awesome about Famitsu and others, but I really don't like that GS score! It sounds like he tried to waggle his way through the game. How inept can someone be?!
To each their own, that's what I say. I have my opinions on that one, but I'd rather not give them screentime. Instead, just see that that review is a clear outlier to the other 32+ reviews out now.
