The Girl Next Door (rated R)

This movie is about a senior in high school who has no life except for getting good grades and getting into a good college. He has two really geeky friends and has never had a girlfriend.

One day, a former porn star in her early 20's moves in to the house next door and they actually meet by the kid "accidentally" watching her change.

This isn't just a romance movie, though. It's also comedic and gets very suspenseful at times. It makes you think how fast people can change with certain influences.

I watched this movie on tv so many of the "good parts" were taken out.

I strongly recommend this movie to anyone in high school (especially if you're a geek) and I also recommend you watch it on DVD, not tv.

This is a really good movie. Not for people who put themselves in the main character's shoes, though. If you do that, you'll be feeling like a fool. And Yoyo, you're right, it IS better on DVD.

I actually wrote this review once but the thread was deleted and I was warned about it.

But anyway, do you guys not agree that this is a very exciting movie? Not what I expected.

That really sucks. Well, watching it on tv is better than not watching it at all. It's on FX once in a while, try to catch it.

And by the way, if you do put yourself in the character's shoes, don't expect a porn star just maybe a hot college girl...MAYBE.
