I think you should have titles based on the LoZ series. For example webmaster would be "Shigeru Miyamoto" since he created Zelda, and the webmaster created Zeldasages. Others could be the three goddess to the three highest ranking administrators, the names of the Zelda Sages could be titles for the other staff members, etc. Just an idea
 
I don't think the webmaster wants to be called Shigeru Miyamoto.

How many people would want to be called Shigeru Miyamoto?

1-Shigeru Miyamoto.
 
That's actually not a bad idea; the only issue would be with new members being able to easily distinguish individual responsibilities. It's just more intuative to keep the staff titles as is. However, staff members can change their own titles if they would like another user title.
