Nintendo Patents Portable

Hmm... Odd. I highly doubt that this would be in the housing that is in the pictures, but maybe a new interface type for the new DS.
 
Interesting... I think it might be good for a first person shooter, but who knows what else it could be good for... A DS version of Mario Paint maybe, where you could use the touch pad and this thinger to paint? Who knows. But we still have to remember that not all random things like this make it state-side, and sometimes they don't sell well (N64 DD didn't come here, Virtual Boy was a flop, SNES BSX never came here, NES disk system never came here, DS rumble pack was never used that much, eReader was kinda bad, you get the idea).
