If you have any real love for the suspense/surprise style of shooter, Dead Space definitely works. Very short game, but it tends towards ammo and health starvation rather than a suck-it-up damage system most modern games go for, so you actually have to be careful throughout the whole game. Plus the spacewalks - the name is deserved, space is silent which of course makes it that much better when you're bisected without warning...
