Night at the Museum

UltimaLink007

Hope Never Dies
I went to see this maybe uhh.......30minutes ago? anyways, this was a pretty good movie........................

VA/Acting - 8/10: Ben Stiller was great. He acted everything perfectly. Also whoever played Octavius and the Cowboy dude, very nice job... I commend the characters for being able to keep straight faces, and not burst into laughter at certain parts of the movie :p Larry's son, was boring and he showed how bored he truely was, because it definately reflected in his "acting skillz"

Story - 8.5/10: Great new story about a divorced father, who moves from home to home, job to job. His son and Ex-Wife are fed up with it, and the Ex at one point suggests that he not see his son anymore. He then finds a job at the Museum of Natural History as the new night guard. On his first day, he discovers something wierd going on at the museum....... Very nice story, and has many comical moments within it.

Characters - 7/10: The museum director never shuts up, AND he has this REALLY annoying accent!!!!! Grrrr....moving on...Larry is nice, caring, and is trying his best to please and impress his son. The tour guide, Rebecca, is ok...a really good person who doesn't believe in Larry until the very end of the movie. The 3 night guards who are fired are decent, until about 3 quarters of the way through the movie...then they become real big a******s. Larry's Ex-wife is , well, you don't see much of her so who really cares? I don't :)

Special Effects - 10/10: I don't feel like making this entire section a spoiler tag, so let me just say that they did a phenomenal job "bringing the museum to life" ;)

Overall - 8.5/10: This is a great movie, and is very funny at times. I liked it a lot, but it's not my favorite... It still is a really good movie nonetheless...

i saw this movie. it was good. not an all time great but it was cute. i actually liked the museum director. i thought it was funny. no one else did at the theatre, but it was full of little kids who really didn't get what was going on.

Lol, I can only imagine what is going through his mind when he see's the T-Rex drinking out of the water fountain.

Owen Wilson is a pretty good actor, although he is only like 3 inches tall. :p

That director was funny. But I didn't think the movie was as good as it could've been. Everything was resolved too quickly and they didn't exactly have a great explanation for the things that went on in the museum.
