Hope Never Dies
This thread can be used for rating you teachers, rather than just slamming them on the favorite font thread. Also, there is ratemyteacher.com, where you can talk all you want about your teachers...

an example:

My (and Slyguy's) past three math teachers in a short description:

7th grade: A jerk who yelled at us constantly, never explained anything clearly. Got angry when we didn't get something the first time: .25/10

8th grade: A REALLY crazy lady...on the last day of school, she came in (we think she was a'drinkin the previous night) screaming at us about how we were stupid r******, and that we would never get in a good college, or even graduate high school...I was her first class, and sly was in her last class... Needless to say, she was fired: 3.5/10

9th grade: acts like we're 5 year olds who don't know anything. She asks for volunteers, and she looks directly at slyguy and/or me, (we have our hands up) and intentionally looks around the room until someone else raises their hand. This is more towards slyguy than me though, but it somewhat feels like she has a grudge against us: 2/10

hmmm ill grade my middle school history teachers...

Sixth Grade= not the nicest woman, forced me to play King Tut in a play after i told her i was loosing my voice. yelled at me at random times. gave us assigned seats at lunch ugh. she was just very boring 3/10

Seventh Grade= kind of funny. before she told us where she was from i could listen to her accent and tell she was from wisconsin. kinda treated us like third graders but she was nice. one of the only history classes where i actually learned something besides ninth grade 8/10

Eight Grade= Absolutely hated me. she liked me in seventh grade when she was an english teacher, but not in eight grade. she liked to yell at me and xxchip22 for no reason. we always got in trouble. i think she changed the grades of people she liked in the class. 1/10

My (and Sly's) 7th grade history teacher, and my homeroom teacher for 5th grade

History, 7th grade: Ahh yes. THE BEST TEACHER EVER!!!!! NOONE CAN STAND UP TO THIS, NOONE!!! He is one of the greatest teachers in existence. He was nice, funny, cool, didn't give too much homework, and if we said something to get him off topic, he would spend the rest of the class talking to us about that, and how great it is, and what an awesome unit it would make in history class. We had a project, where we even got to make our own country, and everything in it. Mine was based off of LoZ, and it scored 4 points (i think) better than Slyguy's. He also played guitar for us, and he's really goodThat class was pure fun, and thanks to him, I had something to live for in 7th grade:D 10+/10

5th grade: we had groups of 3 teachers who took turns teaching us different subjects. This one was my english, homeroom, math, and science teacher at different points. He is another person who was nice, and fun to be around. He made class fun, and if we were good, we earned "teacher tickets". this added even more excitement, because at the end of each month, he had items that he auctioned off in raffles. Theyt ranged from candy, to fun things, to school supplies. I learned a lot from him and enjoyed his class very much. 10+/10

OK, let me rate my previous Math Teachers (listed in first Post), my two favorite teachers from previous years, and one of my new teachers.

7th Grade Math: Lets just say that I had over three hours of homework each night. She didn't really even teach us. 1/10

8th Grade Math: She was so dim-witted, that during a class of hers (she didn't teach us, we looked at it ourselves), I actually SLEPT through it, and when I was called on for a problem, I did it in such detail that I was actually APLAUDED for by the class (later that teacher said that she had never gotten as much praise from any class EVER). 0/10

9th Grade Math: Has ADD. Lots of ADD. Maybe even some ADHD. Nuff. Said. 1/10

5th Grade All Around: One of the greatest teachers ever, should have taken the job of principal when ours resigned (a 3rd Grade Teacher took it). All around awesome, he even let me sleep during classes sometimes (HE made it so that I didn't WAN'T to sleep). 10/10

7th Grade SS: Greatest! Teacher! EVER! For the project that Ultima mentioned, me and a friend made the country "Ironica" (based on Irony and our main export, iron), and had the "All Your Base" Song as out National Anthem, and We got EXTRA CREDIT! 100000000000 (0 to the Infinite Power) / 10

9th Grade SS: Shaping up to be a great teacher. He is quickly becoming a favorite of mine, and I am really good at his subject. 9/10

History teachers...
6th grade- she was so annoying... we were learning about mythology and she made it so stupid. she treated us like 4 year olds and she gave us questions on our test that asked what her favorite sports team was... and she had a baby every 9 months -_-... 1/10
7th grade- this guy was awesome. I always talked about the yankees with him and he never gave homework and his tests were easy... for me at least :) 10/10
8th grade- she's okay... she's strict on homework but i like how she watches the news every morning and we always talk about whats in the news so we never actually get to learning about history :) 8/10

Yes, I slept through my 8th grade math teacher's class a few or more times. It was not only first thing in the morning, it was BORING!!!

8th Grade English Teacher:

BIGGEST BITCH IN THE WORLD. Nuff said. Sorry that i swore but when it comes to her i really don't care. She really, really, REALLY!!!! hated me and because of that i got an E in her class. Mainly because she never helped me out with anything, she always kept telling me that i should've listened even though most of the time i did and to just ask someone else. We did this one paper at the end of the year called the I-search, and it was all based on one word. My word was Chaos, it was a master piece what i had written but guess what.... the idiot never graded anyone's paper. well either that or she just took whoever she liked and gave them A's and failed everyone else.

Rating: -10/10

My 8th grade english teacher.

She annoyed the crap out of me, AND loved giving large essays for homework. An example: After reading Night, we are given a sheet with 6 questions. we have to choose 2, and then write a 5-paragraph essay on each in 3-days (2 because the 1st was for brainstorming.) After they're handed in, we get to choose one of the THEMES from the book, and have the rest of the week to write an essay which was to be about equal to the combined length of the other 2 we just did. EVIL!!! The ONLY good day, was when we got to watch Family Guy in class... BUT! The OTHER classes, such as Sly's, got to watch it in 2 - 4 CLASSES! *cough* GROSSLY UNFAIR *cough!*

I give her.....a 2.75 out of 10

on a good note though we also had to read Night and it was pretty good. we got to see a 2 videos, both with Elie Weisel on Oprah on was like 10-11 years ago and was in in Y2K. we also read the diary of anne frank, and we got to choose our own books that had to do with the Holocaust. mine was in the time when the Jews were fighting back against the Germans in Warsaw, Poland. i'd recommend it but i forgot the title, i'll shout it out if i remember or find out what it is.

Night ... Such a short book ... such painful memories ... pleaz don't bring it up again and stick to rating Teachers.

I don't want to think about Night thank you very much END OF DISCUSSION!

3rd Grade Teachers - 9/10 and 8/10 - One was ok but lacked real teaching skills, and one eventually became principal, so yeah.

Advanced Academic Literacies (a.k.a. The class with no point and massive amounts of worthless homework)

My one teacher went and broke her leg, so I had a sub who was a B****!!! All I will say is: I had to do research on France... so I look stuff up on A sunday... 8 hours later, I STILL couldn't find much, so I go into school the next day, and tell the teacher that 'this' is all I could find after 8 hours+ on the computer. So in addition to not believing me, she starts SCREAMING at me, about I didn't have enough detail, and how I actually need to spend at least SOME time on the D*** computer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVIL!!! AUGHHHHHH!!!
