LotR Vs. Star Wars: The Game!

Well recently quite the debate has taken place with Star Wars supporters against LotR supporters (targelion). So here is a game similar to the "zelda game". This one will take more of a team approach and will also be much shorter.

Rules:


  • One attack per post.
  • Maximum of 5 posts per day. (If this rule is broken all posts for the day will be deleted)
  • One hp lost for the victim of the attack.
  • Max of 5 attacks a day.
  • Max of 1 restore a day.
  • Restores heal 1hp.
  • No double posts.
  • Normal forum rules apply.
  • First team to lose all their people lose the game.
Characters:

Lotr-

Aragorn-20hp
Frodo-20hp
Gandalf- 20hp
Gimli- 20hp
Legolas- 19hp

Star Wars-

Han Solo- 19hp
Darth Vader- 19hp
Obi-Wan Kenobi- 20hp
Yoda- 20hp
Luke Skywalker- 19hp

I'll be periodically updating the player's life points.
 
is there leveling up? or calling allies? we should have leveling up so then as soon as it starts, people shouldn't say things like " use death star" or "create tidal waves with Ainur".

we will increase our strength and level up till we get to that point.

Also, are the guys you mentioned the main people you have to kill or are the only guys in the game?

Why'd you have to go and do this? I'll just tell you what happens:

Game gets too complicated
Illegal moves are made
Rules are questioned
Everyone argues
Star Wars fans completely overrun the LotR fans
LotR fans start making up BS
Star Wars fans make up more BS
Thread closed.

And we all look like morons.
 
Okay, just do it like the Zelda game. No leveling up, no super weapons, no gods. Just the people duking it out.

So: Vader attacks Legolas for 1 point (duh).

Also, you said five posts per day, so is that per person, or per side?

Let's stop complaining and see how it goes. It's posts like these that end up sending the thread into chaos anyway.

Per person.

Legolas pulls his bow out and shoots Darth Vader in the back.

can the Lotr people attack with any lotr guy? or do you choose?

and Gandalf use at least the slightest bit of magic?

You can use any character and yes, but it will only do one point of damage.

As in:

Gandalf uses magic on Luke Skywalker...

hold the game a moment. still figuring out what I can do. can I use magic to make a character lose a turn?

as in: Gandalf uses blinding light on yoda.
 
Well no we're not taking turns with characters... it's who ever is obsessed enough to make 5 posts a day. I could use Legolas twice in a day.... like this:

Legolas eats Han Solo's toe.

Han Solo- 19hp

you should have something like a random die roll to see if a character hits or not.

also, can I dual wield? Gandalf should be able to since he has a sword and a staff. Gimli could also because he has a few axes on him.
 
No and no. It's just a simple game. There is no need to make it so complicated.

Aren't some people unevenly matched? Like Darth Vader vs Frodo? I mean, that's not gonna be too long of a fight.

And why isn't Qui Gon Jin in there? He was the ****. And so was Count Dooko.
 
If we want to expand it, I suggest adding an equal ammount to both sides, as long as animal, Versac, and bob agree. Here would be the additions.

LotR:
Sauron
Saruman
Sam
Balrog (the one "killed" by Gandalf)
... Radagast? Pippin or Merry?

Star Wars:
Qui Gon
Dooku
Emperor
Mace Windu
Leia (pre or post Jedi Training, I don't care)

oh ... Obi Wan knicks Aragorn on the arm.

Guys this is pointless. There are equal amounts of people so they'll all die at the same time.

Ok, Sidious uses force lighting to destroy everyone else in the game.

Star Wars wins with one person left.

My point is: there is no point. We have to stop creating these kinds of game threads.
