neither do I. there are millions of nightwish fans out there. and who cares about william hung?

and if you think the fins are good, listen to battlelore, cadacross, and ensiferum.

SHE BANG, SHE BANG

This argument is over. Led Zeppelin > Nightwish. We won't get into how bad Nightwish is.

just 1 more thing. The old and new singer in Nightwish are really hot. even yoyolll admitted to this. Led Zeppelin desn't have any hot singers.

okay. lets talk about Richard Wagner and orchestral music.

Maybe not hot to you. And being hot doesn't make them a good singer, God, didn't you ever watch Hairspray? (lawl)

No Richard Wagner. We already have the next thing:

Okay, that round is over! Led Zeppelin wins!

Okay, our next musical artist is Sufjan Stephens. Do we have a challenger?

I put up Buckcherry, perhaps the best new-age hard rock band.

WARNING! Videos may have explicit lyrics

Sorry

Frontside

Crazy B*tch

So Far

All by Buckcherry. All written by the lead singer, Josh Todd. Guitarist is Keith Nelson, one of the best modern guitarists.

EDIT: Links now lead to seperate songs. They all led to Sorry before.

Your right, they do have a good guitarist. Instrumently, they play very well. Vocals are okay. However, none of their songs' lyrics are good at all.
Oh I had a lot to say was thinking on my time away
I missed you and things weren’t the same
Cause everything inside it never comes out right
And when I see you cry it makes me want to die
I’m sorry I’m bad, I’m sorry I’m blue, I’m sorry about all things I said to you
And I know I can’t take it back
I love how you kiss, I love all you’re sounds, and baby the way you make my world go round
And I just wanted to say I’m sorry…
This time I think I’m to blame it’s harder to get through the days
You get older and blame turns to shame
(Pre-Chorus)
(Chorus)
Every single day I think about how we came all this way
The sleepless nights and the tears you cried it’s never too late to make it right
Oh yeah sorry!
(Chorus)

Golden rod and the 4-H stone
The things I brought you
When I found out you had cancer of the bone

Your father cried on the telephone
And he drove his car to the Navy yard
Just to prove that he was sorry

In the morning through the window shade
When the light pressed up against your shoulder blade
I could see what you were reading

Oh the glory that the lord has made
And the complications you could do without
When I kissed you on the mouth

Tuesday night at the bible study
We lift our hands and pray over your body
But nothing ever happens

I remember at Michael's house
In the living room when you kissed my neck
And I almost touched your blouse

In the morning at the top of the stairs
When your father found out what we did that night
And you told me you were scared

Oh the glory when you ran outside
With your shirt tucked in and your shoes untied
And you told me not to follow you

Sunday night when I cleaned the house
I find the card where you wrote it out
With the pictures of your mother

On the floor at the great divide
With my shirt tucked in and my shoes untied
I am crying in the bathroom

In the morning when you finally go
And the nurse runs in with her head hung low
And the cardinal hits the window

In the morning in the winter shade
On the first of March on the holiday
I thought I saw you breathing

Oh the glory that the lord has made
And the complications when I see his face
In the morning in the window

Oh the glory when he took our place
But he took my shoulders and he shook my face
And he takes and he takes and he takes
Sufjan Stevens is also a very talented on multiple instruments.

Ummm, what does the second picture have to do with anything? We're talking about Buckcherry, the modern hard rock band, not Chuck Berry, the forefather of rock and roll.

EDIT: Check my last post for new links. They're all separate songs now.

And Zeroth, just because the lyrics in Buckcherry songs are shorter doesn't mean they aren't deep. Broken Glass is about war and how it tears the world apart. Sorry was written for Josh Todd's wife because he felt guilty for all the fights they got in over him always being away from home. Crazy B*tch is about how ridiculous it was that Paris Hilton became famous after the "video" (you guys know what I mean). They all have deeper meanings, not just what they say in the words.

Back to the current debate...

Stephens is too... soft. He doesn't have an edgy sound to his music.

:O Then we've finally come to realize that this thread is about opinion! And we've learned that its difficult to change an opinion!
