Quite frankly, that's bull****. I'm over 20 hours in now and I've beaten 4 dungeons. (Don't worry, it's not tedious, just 20 hours of classic zelda awsomeness) Bob has reported a completion at 56 hours without sidequests, and most reports on completion time are 55-70 hours, give or take a sidequest or two. Do I believe it can be beaten in 24 hours? Not a chance in a million.

I'm not too far. im about 9 hours in and I am gathering the light from the dark insects for the second light spirit... Ya thats pretty bad but if it weren't for those annoying monkeys
I'm on pace to finish it in about 3 months
P.S.... you people who don't have wiis should call up all of your local stores and ask when they're geting another shipement
or go to Kansas... i'm sure they have more wiis then they have people

Wii Central update: Wii chances have gone up in this latest coverage of "Wii Watch". From the random number last time to around 87.5%. HOORAY!!! Also, hang in there Windmage! You will have the greatness known as the Wii soon... and Good luck Slyguy! may your Wii search go as well as your time spent yelling at me for spamming! (jk?)
P.S. My mom went to EB Games today and said she saw that the guy working there had a cool pen, she asked for the pen and he gave it to her. It is a really cool pen, It is white, light blue, gray, and has the nintendo emblem on it. I'll let you guys figure out what it says on it *cough* Wii *cough*

Yeah, I agree. The only way that is possible is if you cheated or used a bug in the game (a bug in TP? I don't think so!). So, ZeldaGuardian, I don't know whether I should be ashamed with you or if I should praise you. Why do you have to lie to reinforce your own power with lies. Guns work better (jk (or am I? I aslo don't think that there would be a bug in TP, but I believe in ZG and say kudos to him...though I can't verify this, ZG wouldn't lie to us.......................................would he? O well, as I said, hang in there Windmage, good luck Slyguy, and to Darkare...no comment

Actually, it can be possible to beat the game in 24 hours. I've been going on a second play-through, knowing what to do, and have gotten as far as the Arbiter's Grounds with 9:43 on the clock, so it is possible, just very hard. I found skipping the cut-scenes cuts down on time, but I still couldn't resist the important ones...that, and not failing at the escort mission many-a times.
Here's a break down.
My second play-through, I've cut temple times significantly from about 4 hours each, to 1-2 *like the Lakebed Temple in a little more then an hour and a half was mind-bogling to me...then again, I know how to work the evil staircase room now*
I'm not encouraging a quick play-through. ENJOY THE GAME! I'm playing it quickly to find secrets to tell you all about, I had my enjoyment already hehe.

Yhea, I'm more of sweeping the game than rushing it. While temples don't take very long if you know what you're doing (like that blasted staircase room!), I still managed to beat Arbiter's Ground it about 2 hours with all chests opened, so a quick little bit of math gives us around 13 hours for all the dungeons. On the other hand, TP has a huge amount of gameplay outside of the dungeons themselves, some required. I can see somebody beating it in around 26 hours, but on their first time? Not a chance.

a) Brag about their Wii to the other jealous people of ZeldaSages, or like me...
b) complain non-stop that you don't have the Wii, and that you will turn into the Hulk and kill everyone if you don't get it before 2006 closes
I believe that if Bob, ZG, Versac, etc. want to brag and/or "tell" us about TP, and how well you guys are doing, you should make a thread under General Discussion for it exclusively. Now, if nobody minds, (i'm sure you all do) I'm going to start complaining again.
